Fitness Consultation
Anyone wishing to use The Fitness Zone is required to complete a consultation with one of our qualified Fitness Advisors. The Fitness Advisor will require you to complete a health questionnaire. This will assist us in determining the correct types of exercise and any possible constraints you may have. During the consultation, you will be given detailed instruction on how to use all of the equipment safely whilst getting the best results! You will also be instructed in the safe practices of warming up, stretching and cooling down. For health and safety reasons, you are required to wear loose, comfortable fitting clothing and trainers. Consultations will last approximately 60 minutes.
Fitness Programme
After you have completed your consultation, we highly recommend that a personal fitness programme be designed specifically for you so you can achieve your goals. This programme will involve specific exercises on both cv and resistance equipment along with ensuring you set the correct weights and undertake the correct amount of repetitions. A programme normally lasts 12 weeks with a 6 week udpate so we can track your progress. To book a programme, please contact one of our Fitness Advisors.
Fitness Profile
For those of you interested in finding out more about your level of fitness, a fitness profile is a MUST! A fitness profile provides an insight into various aspects of your health. Measurements are taken which include blood pressure, resting heart rate, body fat percentage, weight, height, grip strength, stamina, lung function and flexibility. We will then analyse your results and highlight the areas that need additional work which will be included within your fitness programme.
