Provision Of Annual Audit
The Trust seeks to appoint independent auditors to examine its financial records.
The proposed period would commence with the audit of the year ended 31st March 2012 and cover five consecutive financial years. The appointed auditors will be expected to prepare final statutory accounts in compliance with all statutory requirements. They will also be required to report the result of the audit to the Board of Trustees. Interested firms must have appropriate qualifications and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the financial issues relevant to the leisure industry.
The Pickaquoy Centre Trust manages Orkney's largest leisure facility with an average of 360,000 visitors each year. Work is currently underway on a new swimming pool and squash court complex that is due for completion in summer 2012.
