Park Rules & Etiquette

A huge part of the pleasure of caravanning and camping is enjoying the environment around us and being respectful of other individuals using the park and facilities.

To ensure all users have a positive experience, please abide by the following guidelines.  Failure to do so may result in being excluded from using the park and its facilities.

  • To ensure the safety of our users, please abide by the speed limits posted around the site.  Remember children are often playing near to or around tents and caravans.
  • Children are the responsibility of the parents/guardians at all times and should be supervised at all times.
  • Open fires are not permitted at any time.  If using portable barbecues, please do not place directly on grass as this will burn the grass and a considerable amount of time has been spent maintaining the grounds.
  • Tents must be a minimum of 6 metres apart in case of fire.
  • Dogs are permitted, however, they are the responsibility of their owners and must be kept on a lead at all times.  Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
  • We ask that noise is kept to an acceptable level at all times, however, after 11pm we ask that users keep noise to a minimum level to avoid disturbing other site users.
  • Please do not pass through other site users pitch.  Walking through other people's pitches is intrusive.
  • Please do not leave rubbish or litter around your pitch.  Please use the bins provided.
  • The picnic benches are to be used by all site users and can be moved around the park freely.
  • Please assist us in keeping the utility block secure - when the warden is not on duty, please use the key code entry to access the utility block and do not give out the code freely.
  • The drying frames around the park are for the use of all site users.  Please respect other users washing.
  • Please remember to lock your possessions.  The Pickaquoy Centre Trust will not be held responsible for any damage or thefts to personal possessions.

We are very proud of the new utility block and we ask that all site users treat it with respect.  Please ensure that you clean up after using the facilities and report any misuse or faults to the Campsite Warden.

Thank you for abiding by the park rules and we hope that you have an enjoyable stay at the park.
